5K FAQS
General Information

Check-in/Day-Of Registration begins at 9:00am in the MHS Small Commons.

The event begins at 10:00am and course remains open to participants until 12:00pm (at which time color stations shut down and clean up commences).

The entire course is a paved path.

Please park in the Parking Lot adjacent to Lou Eves Municipal Pool, the bus circle, or any sections of the parking lot besides the Small Commons that are not closed off/reserved.

Color 4 a Cure 5k is an informal, untimed event. All proceeds will be donated to the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society.

Start/Finish located in the Small Commons Parking Lot by the Mason Athletic Office.

Bathrooms are available indoors by the Small Commons.

Runners will have color thrown on them every kilometer approximately (5 times).
Rules and Regulations

Strollers, wagons, and wheelchairs are permitted (keep in mind the course includes hills).

No bikes, skates/skateboards, or scooters are allowed.

No pets please.

Please adhere to starting line-up protocol:
First in line at the start are runners desiring to run the course for time (will be timing themselves if they wish to do so) followed by those intending to walk (or run, but do not intend to time themselves), and lastly those with strollers/wagons/wheelchairs.
